The 3D object shown can favour and assimilate a better knowledge and understanding by STEM and NON STEM students and visitors in general of a large research infrastructure such as a Data Centre dedicated to High Performance Computing.

Social and cultural aspects
The data centre of the Fundación Centro de Supercomputación de Castilla y León was built in 2008. It is located on the university campus in the city of León. It is the only public data centre in the region and is one of the most important in Spain. The figure represents one of the 3 rooms it consists of, which includes the original cluster, the entire storage and communications system. It is surrounded by a 120-minute fire-resistant safety mesh.
