Latitude Longitude

Education
Diego Esposito’s work “Latitude Longitude” is represented by some sculptures made of local stone with a convex steel disc reflecting the various changes in the sky from different places on the globe. A “terrestrial family” that will be constantly in communication with the celestial vault in the sign of a “cosmic brotherhood”. A journey that began in 2001 with the first sculpture at the Pecci Museum in Prato. An intercultural dialogue in territories that are distant from each other not only geographically. Each “culture” is formed and developed in relation to others. Each of us does not exist as a self-sufficient substance, but is an ever-changing web of relationships.
