Education
The mule, were widely used in transporting loads such as food and goods; therefore, they are treated as individuals of great esteem. Unfortunately, the urbanization and modernization of cargo transport caused these horses to lose their prestige, assuming the synonym of backwardness.
Social and cultural aspects
The use of these animals, mules, carrying sacks and saddlebags, to transport the charcoal made by burning heather, abundant plants in this region, was a very present tradition until the mid-20th century.
