Kanklės

Education
Kanklės (Lithuanian: [ˈkɐŋkleːs]) is a Lithuanian plucked string instrument (chordophone) belonging to the Baltic box zither family known as the Baltic psaltery. Its sound is produced by covering (muting) the strings that are unnecessary for the sound with the fingers of one hand, and by catching the free strings with the fingers of the other hand. The fingers of the hand covering the strings are used to diversify the sound.
